WORKS-IN-PROGRESS
I don’t normally invite people to peek inside my studio (unless I absolutely have to). However, I threw caution to the wind and created this "virtual studio visit" to share a small sample of works in progress. If I really feel daring, I may even post a few images of the silverpoint drawings I have been tinkering on—I’ll think about it.
These oil paintings are only about 40% to 50% complete. All are between 3 to 5 layers/glazes in, and I am currently in the process of oiling out, slowing down, and tightening up. The excruciating, yet gratifying, detail work is not too far off.
